With Roe v. Wade on the chopping block, Montgomery County, MD will increasingly be a hub for abortion care. There is ample new county and state policy we can implement to set the standard in aiding those who need care, protecting them from prosecution back home, and leveraging state and federal funding in the effort.
Join Kristin Mink, Democratic candidate for District 5 County Council, to learn about:
- the current strengths and weaknesses of abortion rights in Montgomery County and in Maryland
- innovative policy we could pass at the county and state level to aid those who need care, and to protect them from facing prosecution back home
- how we could leverage state and federal funding in this effort
